My 5 ideas to help you think creatively and positively collaborations with elite coaches, players and health professionals.

Five ideas to try this week

1. Look at every member of your team and find their greatest strength.

I mean this quite literally – work through the whole list and find each player and coaches greatest asset to the team. Write them down and share it with each team member. Start your 2025 with new perspectives. Lean into what you’ve got rather than what you think you need.

2. Finish training 5mins early and talk about the year ahead.

Create a bit of breathing space for everyone. This allows more time to listen to everyone perspective as you start your journey of building a team manta.

3. Learn to love your home netball court

Remember that most courts have their cracks and pits. Try to make your home base special to you.

4. Dump your mental load onto paper

As soon as you start feeling overwhelmed about everything you’ve got to do and organise, write a list.

5. Choose someone new to take the warm up every week.

This keeps things fresh and encourages everyones input, in all different styles.
