A sustainable me.

I love being outdoors and active. It’s where I’m at my best, both on and off the court. As well as being active outdoors, I also appreciate the beauty of clean living and thriving off the elements like the simple things that we take for granted…clean water and the lovely shining sun. Two simple things that do amazing things for the mind and soul, and also tie into my love and respect for all things sustainable.

Through being active and outdoors, with the strength of the Australian sun I’m naturally conscious of protecting my skin against the strong UV rays. I’m big on covering my face and staying hydrated but also using a skincare product that doesn’t seem too thick, or invasive, so the QV Face Moisturising Day Cream ticks the box for me. It contains a triple moisturising formula for all day hydration, is SPF 30 and doesn’t streak, or feel like it’s too heavy on my face. It feels really moisturising and my skin responds so well to it that I feel it’s the perfect complement to my face. I love the fact that by using 2 products in one I’m not churning through extra tubes of products at home, plus it’s dermatologically tested, which gives me that extra confidence.

It’s been an interesting year for me, from the challenges of home-schooling in my important final years, to missing crucial games of club and rep netball, as well as being restricted from seeing family and friends as often as I’d like. I think that COVID has taught us all different things. I’m so thankful that I have been able to stay in contact through social media with my friends, and express myself creatively through TikTok and other platforms. I think it’s important to try to stay positive, and take the positives learnt from Australia’s COVID challenges, such as supporting each other locally. Outside of loving what the QV products do to care for my skin, I also appreciate the fact that they are Australian owned and operated.

Hopefully you see me over the coming years on your TV screens playing netball (as well as trending on TikTok), and fingers crossed they might be on some sunny, outdoor courts on the beaches of QLD! It’d be cool to mix it up and be outdoors. One thing’s for sure then… I’ll be protected and glowing, thanks to you know who.
