Alice Springs Festival Of Netball 2023
NETFIT Netball festival is a celebration of Netball. Encouraging participation of all ages and all abilities. There will be FREE participation and development opportunities for all club and social players. The ultimate goal to encourage inclusion, bring back the fun and enhance the community spirit of Netball.

Day 1 - Thursday 16th March
NETFIT Splash
NETFIT Splash is a FREE 60min workout spectacular with a water zone full of music, face painting, braiding bar, DJs and more. Let us take you on a journey full of fun, water and action.
Time: 5:30pm – 7:00pm *Session start 6:00pm
Location: Pat Gallagher Netball Courts
Who: 6-17 year olds
Cost: FREE
Day 2 - Friday 17th March
School Visit – Yipirinya School
The NETFIT team will be running schools clinics for the students of Yipirinya.
Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm
One-on-one Senior Coach Mentoring.
The NETFIT team will attend a round of the Alice Springs Netball Association competition & provide live game mentoring to coaches of senior teams within the Alice Springs Netball Association.
Time: 6:00pm – 10:30pm

Day 3 - Saturday 18th March
Net Set Go – Junior Skill Development (children between ages of 5 – 10)
The NETFIT team run a skills session for junior first year netballers.
Time: 9:00am – 10:00am

Cost: FREE
One-on-one Junior Coach Mentoring.
The NETFIT team will attend a round of the Alice Springs Netball Association competition & provide live game mentoring to coaches of junior teams within the Alice Springs Netball Association.

All-Abilities development clinic
The NETFIT team will run a development clinic with the all-abilities Thorny Devils Netball team.
Time: 12:00pm – 1:00pm

Mens Skills Development Session
The NETFIT team will run a mens skill development session with netballers from ASNA.
Time: 1:30pm – 2:30pm

Who: Men (All Ages)
Meet the Stars, under the Stars Function!
Sharni, meet and greet function. The event will celebrate women in sport, from the stars on the podium to the athletes in the audience, we all play a role in empowering and inspiring one another to be champions in our community. The NETFIT team will speak about their own personal sporting journeys, the highs, the lows, the challenges, what inspires them and what they see for the future of netball.

Day 4 - Sunday 19th March
Development Training Clinic with NT Pathway / TID Athletes
The NETFIT team will deliver an elite training session with the NT Pathways & TID athletes
Time: 9:00am – 10:30am

NETFIT Coach Workshop
Join the NETFIT Team for a morning of drills, skills and get your burning questions answered. The first half of the workshop will be focused on parent coaches and then move onto our U13+ coaches.
Get the most out of your training sessions while learning all the tips and tricks from the NETFIT team.
